Currently Watching: Who Are You

I decided to start a new drama and as it was the weekend, I got to watch eight a couple of episodes of the drama. And even though I am also currently watching, I think seven other dramas, I decided to start a new one.

So I started Who Are You, starring So Yi Hyun, Ok Taecyeon, and Kim Jae Wook.

So quick summary of what has happened so far… please know that spoilers are ahead.

Summary

So, Lee Hyung Joon, a detective, is on a boat and is investigating some bad guys. Then something happens and he is shot and killed by a mysterious person. All of this is seen by Shi Ohn, another detective, who is on the boat for an unknown reason. As she tries to escape she is hit in the head and passes out.

Six years pass and she has been in a coma. Suddenly, she wakes up and gets questioned about the crime and is told to go to therapy. While there she tells the doctors that she is seeing ghosts. The doctor then asks if she is seeing them now and she says no, but then one of the other doctors in the room gets up and walks towards the window. She sees that he has a major head wound and then he falls out the window. One of the doctors was a ghost!

Shi Ohn now works in the Lost and Found Center with her new coworker Gun Woo and while doing inventory she comes across other ghosts. She solves their cases and Gun Woo is now suspicious as to how she knew everything. She confesses to him and he doesn’t believe her. She gains his trust when she finally see his father’s ghost and asks him things only Gun Woo and his father would know.
Now she sees the ghost of Hyung Joon, the guy on the boat, and she realizes that something is wrong about that case. As she tries to piece the case together, a mysterious man keeps trying to hurt her or prevent her from finding out the truth. Each time this happens, Gun Woo helps her and saves her and is worried about her.

Currently their office has the weekend off and so Gun Woo went with Shi Ohn to the movies. And he was awkwardly adorable as he realized he likes her, so he tries putting his arm around her with the yawn-and-stretch trick, but fails in any attempt. After dropping her off at her home, he sees her phone in his car and goes back to give it to her. He teases her, saying his spiel he usually does when someone comes into the Lost and Found Center to get an item. When he doesn’t give it back they play a little tug-of-war game with the phone and he accidentally pulls her towards him. She lets go, peeved and he continues his spiel asking for her ID saying how he can’t give it back for free. Jokingly she then says maybe he wants a kiss as payment. He ends up giving it to her and turns to leave. He stops and has a determined look on his face and then walks back and kisses her. She is shocked, needless to say and then he leans in again for another kiss.

Comments/Concerns

Woo hoo! The last paragraph is in more detail since I just watched it last night so it is fresh in my mind. But that kiss! I fangirled in front of my computer because I was so shocked and happy. I also liked watching him not like her at first, then slowly warm up to her and like her. And how he was acting at the movies was adorable.

I am worried about Shi Ohn and Hyung Joon, since it is known that they were a couple in the past, but she can’t remember it, but she knows that they somehow knew each other. What I am also worried about is Gun Woo’s mentor. He seems to be hiding evidence and telling lies and if he is a bad guy, Gun Woo will be crushed. What I am curious about is the reason for their case on the boat and why everyone has hid it from Shi Ohn. Also, like I mentioned, Gun Woo’s mentor is lying and it seem he is lying about Hyung Joon, who he was, and what he did. This man is going to disappoint me. I can feel it.

I don’t know if it was smart or idiotic of me to start a new drama when I already have so many on my plate, but my mission is already a go, so there is no stopping me.

Currently Watching: Blood

So a drama that I am currently watching is the drama Blood.

It has Ahn Jae Hyun, who I think is handsome and I love his very deep voice. It also has Goo Hye Sun, but you probably know her better as Geum Jan Di in Boys over Flowers. It is about Park Ji Sang, a vampire who is also a doctor, but wants to be human. In the hospital where he works there is a another doctor, Yoo Ri Ta, and they become friends and help each other through a troubling time in the hospital, especially since there are bad vampires who threaten his dream of being human.

I happened to see the first episode, but it didn't really draw me in and I also had a test to study for the next day, so I didn't see the next episode. Well, about 2 weeks later I decided that I should give the second episode a chance. Boom! I was hooked. It was interesting and I was glad that I went back to watch it. So I quickly caught up to the current episode and I have been watching it ever since.

Spoiler Ahead!

So the last episode I saw was episode 12 and how it left off was one of the bad minions was in Ri Ta's house and Ji Sang was fighting him and realized he was one the men who killed his mom. Oh no...

I am actually kind of worried. Will he change into a vampire? Will he kill the baddie? Will Ri Ta see the bad part of him? Ugh, countless questions are going through my head and I can't type them fast enough. And of course, when the writers/director leaves you with such an intense cliffhanger, they don't have a preview at the end of the episode.

At least the next episode comes out on Monday and I will be worriedly patiently waiting for it.

My Main Idea

Hello and welcome to my blog, Kimchee & Ramen! This blog is for me to talk about Korean dramas. No one in my family wants to hear me talk about them, so I need an outlet that lets me let everything out. So, this is where the blog comes in. On here, I can rant about a current drama I am watching and at least let some of my thoughts out. Sound like a good enough plan?
